Oh, this is good. From [info]aphephobia:

Give me a fandom* and I will tell you my...

One True Pairing Ship:
Canon Ship:
"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" ship:
"You are one sick bastard" ship:
"I dabble a little" ship:
"It's like a car crash" ship:
"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" ship:
"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" ship:
"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" ship:

* Offer only applicable to fandoms that I actually know and have some level of participation in.

In other news, if I've missed anything it's because I'm eating up episodes of ReGenesis (AKA OMG, HOW HAVE I NEVER WATCHED THIS SHOW BEFORE?) whilst trying to knit socks. The sockmaking has stalled due to several WTF? moments. The jawdrop of awe at ReGenesis goes on apace.

In still other news, last night was spent a. babysitting Amelia. Also b. watching two eps of Durham County on a giant-screen television, followed by c. Watching Paul on Red Green, also on said giant-screen TV. *wins*

I think I feel another gin-and-tonic coming on.

Writer's Block: To auld lang syne

How will you celebrate New Years eve? And how will you recover on New Years day?

Hmm. I'll go to work, and hopefully get home before all the drunk people leave the bars. I'll recover by waking up and being relieved that the stupid holiday is finally over.

Yeah, I know I sound cynical, but I hate New Year's Eve. It's just an exuse for everyone to get drunk. It's not the getting drunk that bothers me, not at all. It's millions of people acting like lemmings that makes me a little sick. It's basically a meaningless holiday as far as I'm concerned. New Year's Day is okay, especially when someone has a party with mimosas and lots of food, but I haven't gone to one of those in a long time.

And anyway, my new year starts in October:

In other news, I'm going to try to peer switch for Monday so I can go here.

In still other news, my (borrowed) car needs a new clutch, to the tune of $675.

In even more other news, I went to a Triple Goddess ritual (during a Blue Moon!) celebrated by Spiral Tree Grove, and it was awesome and all that good stuff, and also very nice to get back to Things Pagan again. I think I'll go to their Imbolc celebration also.

Dear Seekrit Santa,

I love my story! It's everything I wanted, with lots of unexpected surpises thrown in!

I'll be commenting directly later, on account of for some reason my friend's computer doesn't let me log in with openID and also because with all the Christmas stuff I won't have time to do it justice. I did want to say thank you, thank you so much! :D :D :D

Even though I ended up with the evening off (whee!), I still seem to be too busy to make a real post, or even be near my keyboard for more than a couple of minutes at a time. But! This isn't bad for you, because I now present my second Christmas Eve gift, courtesy of my boyfriend:

My Christmas Eve gift to all (very worksafe):

See, this is a truly selfless gift, as I do not actually like bananas. *basks in holiday spirit*

And now? Gotta go to work.
